In this blog, we are excited to introduce you to three of our long-term residents who are desperately seeking their forever homes. Midnight, Jasper, and Ozzy are three amazing black and white male cats who have been with us for quite some time. Despite their lovable personalities and playful nature, they have received very little interest from potential adopters.
We believe that superstition surrounding black cats might be a factor, but we assure you, these boys are nothing short of wonderful! They have so much love to give and all they want are cuddles and snuggles.
Read on to learn more about Midnight, Jasper, and Ozzy, and discover why adopting an older cat can be one of the most rewarding decisions you'll ever make.
Could you be the one to give them their happy endings?
Let's find out!
Midnight & Jasper: The Dynamic Duo

Midnight and Jasper are two handsome black and white male cats, each around 1 year old, who have been with us for quite some time. Despite their charming personalities and playful nature, they have received very little interest from potential adopters. This could be due to the superstition surrounding black cats, but we assure you, these boys are nothing short of amazing!
Midnight and Jasper came to us when their previous owner had too many cats to care for. Initially, they were a bit skittish and took some time to warm up to us. However, they have since blossomed into affectionate and energetic cats who love to play and snuggle. They keep each other entertained and will bring endless joy to their new home.
These two are currently in a foster home in the Warrington area, where they have shown their true, lovable selves. They do have a tendency to get a bit overexcited during playtime, sometimes giving little love nips, but they mean no harm. They just need a patient and experienced home where they can feel safe and loved. https://www.rspca.org.uk/findapet/search/details/-/Animal/MIDNIGHT_AND_JASPER/ref/BSA2134237/rehome
Benefits of Adopting Two Cats Together:
Companionship: Midnight and Jasper will keep each other company, reducing feelings of loneliness and boredom.
Exercise and Play: They will engage in play together, helping to keep them physically active and mentally stimulated.
Easier Transition: Having a familiar companion can make the transition to a new home smoother and less stressful for both cats.
Behavioural Benefits: Cats adopted in pairs are often better behaved, as they learn social cues from each other.
Ozzy: The Independent Spirit

Ozzy, who is around 5 years old, is another wonderful black and white male cat who has been with us for a while. He came to us as a stray, and despite his tough start, he has proven to be a sweet and playful boy. Ozzy is independent but also enjoys a good fuss and cuddle. He has a playful side that can sometimes be a bit much for the faint-hearted, but with the right home, he will thrive.

Ozzy has spent time in a foster home, which has helped us understand his needs better. He would do best in an experienced home that can appreciate his playful nature and provide him with the freedom to come and go as he pleases, ideally with a cat flap installed.
